David graduated from the University of St.Thomas in Houston, Texas with a double major in chemistry and biochemistry and completed his PhD in pharmacology at Vanderbilt University. He currently works as Scientist II at Leidos Lab in Frederick, Maryland. He is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas and is an expert in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical research as well as reviewing scientific literature. He loves good food, nutrition, and exercising. In his spare time he loves to watch the science channel, exercise, and discuss philosophy and interesting phenomena.

Jenny is a 23 year old graduate from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Japanese, and a Leiths School of Food and Wine Foundation Certificate student. She is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and currently resides in Maryland. In her spare time, she loves to cook, bake, exercise, read and occasionally play the piano. In her spare time, she sells cookies to friends and at the markets in Frederick, Maryland with her business, Cream and Sugar.
