You need fuel to perform daily activities, so it is important that you continue to eat. For those who keep trying to lose weight and restrict calories, in the long run it will be harmful to your health. 

Here are some activities that can burn off 40-100 calories per hour depending on intensity: 
  • Mowing the lawn
  • Shoveling
  • Gardening
  • Cleaning
  • Making the bed
  • Cooking and baking
  • Washing dishes
  • Doing laundry
  • Playing with your pet
  • Taking out the trash
